别的皇帝追求长生，朕只求速死 — roughly, "While Other Emperors Chase Immortality, I Only Want a Swift Death" — is a complete, 90-episode 红果 short-drama rated 8.3. It's fully aired (全90集), so there's nothing left to wait for. Search the title in Hongguo Downloader and batch every episode into 1080p .mp4 files in one go.
A title built entirely on contrast — every other ruler in the setting wants to live forever, and this one just wants out.
What it's about
The title spells out its hook as a single line of dialogue: 别的皇帝追求长生 ("other emperors chase immortality/longevity"), set against 朕只求速死 ("I only seek a swift death") — and 朕 (zhèn) is the first-person pronoun an emperor uses to refer to himself, so the speaker is the ruler in question. It's a comedic premise built on inversion: where the genre's palace dramas usually have every emperor obsessed with elixirs, cultivation, or eternal rule, this lead's one goal is to escape the throne as fast as possible — a familiar shape for the catalogue's transmigration/possession palace comedies, where a modern-minded soul lands in an imperial body it never wanted.
