你状元及第，我太监坐龙椅 — roughly, "You Place First in the Imperial Exam, I Sit on the Dragon Throne" — is a complete, 88-episode 红果 short-drama rated 8.2. It's fully aired (全88集), so there's nothing left to wait for. Search the title in Hongguo Downloader and batch every episode into 1080p .mp4 files in one go.
The title itself is the hook: a direct comparison between someone who wins top academic honors and a narrator who ends up with the far bigger prize. At 88 episodes, it's a long enough run that batch-downloading beats streaming it one episode at a time.
What it's about
The title states its own twist outright: "you" place first (状元及第) in the imperial examination — the highest academic honor in the setting's civil-service system — while "I," framed as a eunuch, end up sitting on the dragon throne (坐龙椅) — the seat of the emperor. It's a palace-set power-reversal premise, contrasting a conventional path to status (the exam) against an unconventional, much higher one (the throne itself), told from the perspective of the character who wasn't expected to win.
