A title built entirely out of mood — fog, and a feeling that won't quite let go.
What it's about
Like many 红果 titles, 雾色缠绵 leans on atmosphere rather than a stated plot. 雾色 (wù sè) is literally "the color of mist" — the hazy, obscuring quality of fog. 缠绵 (chán mián) is a set phrase describing something lingering, entangled, or tenderly drawn-out — most often used for an emotional attachment that persists, unresolved, between two people. Together the title paints a mood of hazy, drawn-out longing rather than naming a premise directly, which is typical of the catalogue's more literary, romance-leaning entries. What specific story plays out under that mood is exactly what the drama itself is for; the catalogue entry doesn't go beyond the title.
